China: Opportunities and Challenges

Abstract

The present special edition of Studia Politicae arises from a collaboration between the Center for Argentine Studies in China (CEAC) at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, and the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations together with the Belt and Road Studies Center at the Catholic University of Córdoba.The Center for Argentine Studies in China is a specialized unit within UIBE, with a strong interdisciplinary orientation aimed at addressing cooperation between China and Argentina. Likewise, the Catholic University of Córdoba has developed a series of initiatives to foster a deeper understanding of the potential for cooperation with China, both in research and in teaching.Accordingly, this publication seeks to establish itself as a meeting space to reflect upon cooperation between Argentina and China under the theme of “opportunities and challenges.”
