Elección de la tiroidectomía subtotal en el tratamiento del Basedow

Résumé

For the present study, 768 hipertiroideous patients at Córdoba Hospital has been evaluated since 1977 to 1985. Medical treatment has been applied to 503 patients that represents 66 %. A second group of 201 patients, that represents 26 %, has received surgical treatment, and a third group of 64 patients, representing 8,3 %, received treatment. Each treatment complications has been evaluated to suggest subtotal tiroidectomy as choosen treatment in basedow.
